january 2nd reading

im reading go ask alice.
i like the format of the book. ive read it before but its a pretty interesting book i guess ill try it again.
i got like half way threw it in french class so im a pretty good way through it already, im at the part where she goes back to visit her family after moving across the country with her friend and starting a new shipping boutique in her own house as a 16 year old. mayeb shes 15 imnotsure. im confused as to if shes going back to her own house or staying with her familly. she seems to really like being home. shes started doing drugs again though and she still seems to be in love with the guy from the begining.i think its ridiculous to waste that much time thinking about someone who doesnt bother spending anytime thinking about you. just my opinion!

January 1st 2012

 finished book

Blomkvist's book about Salander asupoised to be published the same day as her trial. The Section wants to prevent the piece from being printed, but when they reach the publishing house they find that Milton Security is guarding Blomkvist's book. They decide to have Blomkvist killed and plant cocaine and a wad of cash in his apartment, so his death looks drug-related. (sneeeeeeky)

Blomkvist's home security cameras record the Section planting drugs in his place. At dinner with Berger, hit men hired by the Section try to kill Blomkvist, but he and members of Team Salander foil the killers.
Salander's trial takes place. Teleborian is the chief witness, but Giannini and Salander totally discredit him. In order to build Salander's credibility, Giannini shows the court the video of Salander being raped by her ex-guardian, Nils Bjurman.. This proves Salander isn't delusional and lying about the rape, as Teleborian has claimed. At the end of the trial, members of the Section are arrested for a slew of crimes. Teleborian is also arrested for having violent child pornography on his computer. Salander's declaration of incompetence is revoked, and all charges are dropped against her.

i need a new book to read...

Reading 12/22/2011

The girl who kicked the hornets nest
CHAPTER 10
Blomkvist is still writing about Salander and her life( her name reminds me of a salamander.)Millenium publishes dag's book on sex trafficking. blomkvist is still struggling to get a hold of salander to tel her about the book hes writting with her information in it. IDRIS is hired ( a man from salanders hospital) to talk to salander for Blomkvist. salander talks to  Johannes Frisk, a young reporter, that the recent story he wrote about Salander being suspected of selling steroids is unacceptable. She explains that because Salander is constantly a victim of the media, all Salander stories have to go through her from now on.Berger assigns Frisk to research the truth in all the news articles written by Salander.
Im really curious to see how the "truth article" turns out. and how the court holding for salander goes. i think its really awesome salander has so much energy even while shes hurt so bad in the hospital. i feel like just being in the hospital takes alot of energy and the artificial atmosphere around you just makes life more confusing. she's got a pretty strong head on her shoulders to have all this going on and not be freaking out.
